In Eden’s hallowed garden, where whispers of divinity sway,
Stood the forbidden tree, with tempting allure on display.
Its charm beguiled fair Eve, her heart entangled in desire’s snare,
Thus unfurled a tale of consequence, beyond compare.
For in that moment, beauty veiled the truth beneath its guise,
Yet appearances deceive, masking wisdom’s ardent advice.
A lesson etched in time’s enduring scroll, woven so fine,
That goodness lies not in our thoughts, but in the divine.
What seems fair and alluring to mortal eyes may deceive,
For perception is bound, and judgments we may misconceive.
In the realm of right and wrong, our thoughts hold no sway,
But God’s holy wisdom, His sacred truth we must obey.
For goodness resides not in our whims or transient dreams,
But in the guiding words of the Divine, where true goodness gleams.
To grasp what’s truly good, we must lift our gaze above,
And trust in the words of the Almighty, the source of purest love.
Thus, let us not be swayed by alluring appearances we see,
But seek Heaven’s counsel to shape our actions, pure and free.
For goodness flows from the Creator, His word holds the key,
And in His boundless wisdom, true righteousness shall be.
So, let our hearts be humbled, surrendered to God’s decree,
Recognizing that goodness is defined by His majesty.
In His divine plan, perfection shall forever reside,
And by aligning with His truth, in His grace we shall abide.
