Friends, today’s Gospel is not just a lesson in good manners; it is a revelation of the very nature of God. He is the One who casts down the mighty and raises the lowly, who fills the hungry with good things and lets the rich go away empty. If we want to find Jesus, we must be willing to take the lower place and share our table with those who cannot repay us….
