For the past two years that Faith-Chat Platform community has embarked on Easter feeding outreaches, we have ended up feeding more than 7000 individuals across Africa, and in this year 2024, we embarked on our usual estimate of feeding 7000 people, but surprisingly as the will of God would have it, we ended up feeding a total number of 8,160 persons.

It is pertinent to note and understand that we cannot afford to be distracted by the figures. One needs to pick among every other thing else, that at the core essence of this mission, it is really not about the numbers, but this goes such a long way to show and draw everyone with a healthy conscience to the main issue at hand, which is the dire circumstances in our societies and how much the world needs help.

Portharcourt Outreach

We note with joy that our ever-vibrant team and generous volunteers were warmly welcomed by the various communities and families we served. But these outreaches weren’t just about physical food. We were duly committed to creating lasting memories, spreading joy through dance battles and fun activities across our outreaches, and through that means, fill up the bellies of our recipients with spiritual food that they may be lacking overtime in ways unimaginable.

With careful coordination we served food and drinks, ensuring safety and orderliness that in no small measure helped us exceed our goal of feeding 7000 children and adults by eventually providing meals for more than 8000 people, predominantly children. Again we note that none of this would have been possible without the vision of our founder and director Fr James Anyaegbu.

We could not have achieved this without the help and support of our amiable sponsors, who contributed in various currencies such as naira, Ksh, Moz. metical, pounds, dollars, and others. We are deeply grateful! I wish to specially thank our amiable coordinators and selfless volunteers from Abuja, Accra, Awka, Enugu, Lagos, Maputo, Nairobi, Owerri, Port Harcourt, and Yaounde for their selfless sacrifices and efforts to bring Jesus to the needy.

Lagos Outreach

Our next project is to build three toilets for children in the rural area of Namaacha, Mozambique. Having witnessed the suffering and struggles of these children firsthand when I visited Mozambique in January 2024, where many children had to walk for miles to find one, we could say for a fact that these children are in great need of our help. We hope to begin and complete this project before the end of the year and bring succor to their suffering.

May God bless all our dedicated coordinators and volunteers of Faith-Chat Platform for their unwavering selflessness and readiness to serve. And may God bless you abundantly as you joined hands with them to make this endeavor a resounding success.

Thank God and thank you!
