Pope John Paul II called Medjugorje the “spiritual heart” of the world. Medjugorje is small village in Bosnia-Herzegovina where our lady has been appearing and giving messages since 1981.
This holy place holds a significant place in the heart of many devout Christians and particularly in the heart of the Spiritual director of Faith-Chat platform Rev Fr James Anyaegbu.
Approximately one million pilgrims visit Medjugorje sanctuary every year, seeking to experience peace and renewed spirituality.
The purpose of the pilgrimage is to grow spiritually, renew our faith and connect deeper with God through the intercession of mother Mary.
Most importantly, our blessed mother calls you to her shrine for an extra ordinary encounter with her through prayers. While our lady continues to appear at Medjugorje, she reminds us to pray the rosary daily, fast twice a week, go to confession monthly, attend Sunday mass and read the bible daily. This pilgrimage will deepen your love for God in Mary’s school of prayer. Our lady reminds us that she appears to tell the world that God exists, that God is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, we must return to God.
