It was a beautiful and sunny day, as I had the wonderful opportunity to introduce the Faith-Chat Platform (FCP) to my highland parishioners. It was a moment filled with pride and joy for me, as I was able to speak about a topic that is very close to my heart: “Evangelising the Culture”. I explained to them how FCP is a powerful tool that provides the right environment for faith to flourish both online and offline.
To make the occasion even more memorable, we enjoyed soul-lifting music and paid tribute to Our Lady of Fatima with some beautiful songs. The St. Mary’s Music group provided the instrumental accompaniment while the talented Jasmine Kalata gave a heart-stirring rendition of “Mary did you know?” which moved the entire congregation. We also sang the Magnificat in an Irish tune which filled our souls with joy.
During the event, we had fruitful discussions on various practical issues that the church community needs to address, such as ways to support each other, serve the community, and spread the gospel. We also talked about how we can use FCP to reach out to more people, especially the youth, and provide them with a supportive environment to grow in their faith.
To make the event even more special, we had plenty of delicious food to share and take home as a reminder of our time together. As we said our goodbyes, we thanked God and Our Lady of Fatima for a beautiful day well spent and looked forward to manifesting today’s discussions in the future.
Overall, the event was a great success, and I am thrilled to have introduced FCP to my parishioners. I am confident that this platform will help us to build a stronger community of faith and continue spreading the good news of the gospel in our modern-day culture.
